James Lamb, PM
Worshipful Brother James Lamb retired from the field of Consumer Finance in 2017 after 30 years in the field. He started his Masonic Family Journey in January 1965 when he joined DeMolay in Jared W. Summerhays Chapter in Milton-Freewater, OR. When he turned 21, he joined Milton Lodge #96 in Milton-Freewater, OR in June of 1972 and took out dual Memberships in Salem Lodge #4 in Salem, OR in 1973, Sellwood Lodge #131 in the fall of 1991, Palestine Lodge #141 in 2001 which has consolidated with Washington Lodge No. 46, Willamette Lodge #2 in 2002, Waverly Lodge No 174. in 2010 (Sellwood Lodge and Waverly Lodge have consolidated with Willamette Lodge), .Champoeg Lodge #27 in 2017, Oregon Military Lodge No. 223 in 2021, Friendship Lodge No 160 in 2022 and Sandy Lodge No. 158 in 2024. He has served as Worshipful Master 5 times and is currently serving his 11th consecutive year as Secretary of Willamette (having also served as Secretary in 1994 through 1996) and Treasurer of Champoeg Lodge in his 5th year. Brother Lamb has belonged to the Scottish Rite since 1973 and is a 32nd Degree Knight Commander of the Court of Honor; and serving on the Oregon Education Foundation as Secretary since 2021. He is a member of Al Kader Shrine Temple and since 2000 has been a member of Oregon Shrine #1 of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and currently serving as Worthy Scribe. In 2023 he was appointed to the Supreme Shrine Board of Directors and is currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors. Brother Lamb has continued his activity in DeMolay serving on the Jurisdictional level in many capacities including serving as Executive Officer from 2006 to 2013 and serving as a member of DeMolay International since 2002. Brother Lamb has been an adult leader in Oregon Job’s Daughters since 2001 and served as the Associate Grand Guardian from 2019 to 2021. year.
